Jacqueline has worked with military and job search charitable organizations. If you would like to have her in partnership to your goals, please send an email here.
I can't say any of us are "layoff proof" in this day and age, but I can say unequivocally that working with Jacqueline Widdis will help you be better prepared for what comes next.

Jacqueline operates with high integrity, a deep caring for others, unmatched consistency and a lovely dash of creativity and warmth. I'd highly recommend connecting with her for mentorship and guidance!

I had the pleasure of working with Jacqueline Widdis during her time as a Product Manager on the Visual Studio team, and she brought clarity, momentum, and deep customer empathy to every project. Whether leading large-scale CSAT initiatives—gathering over 10,000 insights through surveys, interviews, and conference conversations—or driving targeted product improvements like revamping the customer commenting experience, Jacqueline consistently turned feedback into action. Her approach was thoughtful, data-informed, and grounded in the real needs of developers. She also worked seamlessly across security, privacy, and compliance workflows—handling the behind-the-scenes work with just as much care as the user-facing features. Her fluency with tools like Azure DevOps, Figma, and SurveyMonkey helped her move quickly, but more than that, she asked the right questions and stayed close to the customer. Jacqueline is a sharp, user-centered PM who gets things done without losing sight of the human side of product work. I’d work with her again in a heartbeat.

I wanted to tell you that I thought the course was terrific. I wished I'd had this when I started LinkedIn, but even now having been through two rounds of #linkedinhardmode, I still found a lot of very useful information in it.

When I was switching into a tech career, my networking brought me to Jacqueline. Through her weekly mentoring sessions, I was able to find a community to help me build my LinkedIn profile and resume. Her support meant I was able to find a career in my new field faster than my cohort. If you are looking for information about how to utilize LinkedIn, job search, or be more visible in the community Jacqueline is someone you will want to speak with.

Jacquline is mentor and I truly appreciate the guidance and expertise she has provided during the weekly session that she and her counterparts host.

I had the pleasure of working with Jacqueline on the Visual Studio team at Microsoft, where we collaborated on the Visual Studio Hub landing page project. Her ability to navigate cross-functional teams and distill complex information and feedback into clear, actionable insights was invaluable and played a key role in bringing the design to life. Jacqueline is a thoughtful and collaborative partner—authentic, open, and full of creative energy. She brings genuine care to her work and the people around her, which makes her not only a great teammate but also a strong asset to any team.

I was lucky enough to collaborate with Jacqueline on an assortment of Visual Studio projects at Microsoft, and for that I am grateful. Newer to Visual Studio, I was not as familiar with the VS space as Jacqueline. But she very quickly made me forget about my novice knowledge and welcomed me into her realm of content expertise and project management. Her wealth of information combined with an unspoken willingness to take me under her wing and work with me as a team was an incredibly enriching and caring endeavor for her to take on. From breaking down complex ideas and high-level C-suite thoughts, to liaising between multiple authoritative voices, to standing firm and confident in representing the user needs, Jacqueline became a north star in helping me navigate my own career journey to delivering excellent work. With her curiosity and drive for human success, both professionally and personally, she is a true value to any work environment. More importantly, though, she is an especially rare privilege to work alongside and I'm thankful to have learned so much from her.

During my time both leading and participating in Visual Studio shiproom, Jacqueline was one of the people I relied on the most. There were many occasions where, after shiproom would end, Jacqueline and I would stay behind and discuss how things had gone during the meeting, what things could we do to make the process even better, and so on -- she was always focused on both self-growth and process improvement. Always prepared, always creative, and always focused on the right thing to do, being able to work with Jacqueline made my job so much easier. If you are looking for a diligent and imaginative person to bring our products to market, you should definitely synch with Jacqueline.

I had the pleasure of working with Jacqueline Widdis on a number of different volunteer opportunities while we were both at Microsoft (MSSA, Mentorship Live, etc.). I cannot overstate how much of an impact she made—not only on the success of these initiatives but also on the people involved. Jacqueline brought a rare mix of strategic thinking, creativity, and empathy to our mentorship work. She consistently found ways to bridge the gap between vision and execution, turning complex goals into actionable, inclusive programming that truly resonated with participants. Her leadership and collaboration style made the project not just effective but meaningful. What stood out most was her unwavering commitment to creating opportunities for others. Whether she was mentoring directly, facilitating connections, or improving our approach with thoughtful insights, Jacqueline always showed up with authenticity, generosity, and purpose. Working with her was both a professional highlight and a personal joy. I would jump at the chance to collaborate again and recommend her without hesitation to any organization seeking a mission-driven, people-centered leader.

I had the pleasure of working with Jacqueline on Visual Studio Private Marketplace at a time we needed immediate help to incubate a new product. I appreciated her ability to jump in, learn very quickly about customers, competitive landscape and pave the way for clear requirements and solution concepts. She provided much-needed oxygen to keep the momentum on that effort. Jacqueline made the team better by bringing an honest and inclusive perspective to team discussions and collaborative learning efforts.

I had the pleasure of being Jacqueline's manager during her time on the VS Release team, when she was just getting back into tech after a long break. She was one of the best reports I ever managed, and not just because she was excellent at the role. Her humility, curiosity, and desire to learn was unmatched. She took on new challenges with excitement and a willingness to ask questions, making sure she had all the information needed to successfully execute and support those around her. Being new to the role, Jacqueline was afraid of the responsibilities involved, especially since they had previously belonged to someone at a Sr. level. Not only did she absorb the duties as a PMII, she excelled at maintaining continuity of release support, while building up process improvements in parallel. She consistently was performing above her level and earning the trust and admiration of the Visual Studio leadership and engineering teams along the way. Since then she has grown her career even further, while pushing herself to expand her visibility as an advocate for military veterans transitioning into civilian careers in tech. As is evidenced by her profile and her actions, she gives selflessly to all those she comes in contact with, and is most excited by helping others be successful through support, guidance, and empathy. At the end of the day, that's exactly what good project management is, and nobody exemplifies and lives that better than Jacqueline. Any business would be immensely lucky to have her as a part of your team.

Jacqueline and I joined developer division on the same day long ago and she very quickly earned my respect and admiration. Her journey from a long career gap back into a highly skilled job required enormous courage, but also organization, drive, vulnerability, and adaptability. That was impressive but what did she do after that? She kept learning, kept challenging herself, and then poured herself into mentoring and lifting up others, all the while delivering fantastic results for her team and their partners. I am confident that Jacqueline will impress you, inspire you, and rise to any challenge you put in front of her. Do not miss an opportunity to bring her into your team.

I enjoyed our collaboration on the VS + Azure home page. This iteration marks maybe the third redesign with which I've had involvement, and this was by far the most streamlined iteration, thanks mostly due to the manner in which you'd ask for feedback and then take it and iterate. I enjoyed the collaboration, especially how you and your team would provide me a list of precisely what you needed and gave me deadlines to work towards. Then you'd come back with updates and gave me an opportunity to review as you progressed towards a completed state. I was very happy with the outcome, as was my team!

I’ve had the pleasure of partnering with Jacqueline across several impactful projects, including VS Live conference planning and the launch of the Visual Studio Hub. Throughout every initiative, Jacqueline brings a rare combination of enthusiasm, creativity, and customer-first thinking that consistently elevates the work. Beyond individual projects, Jacqueline is a generous and thoughtful collaborator. She’s been active in everything from AI prompting discussions and PM skill-building sessions to helping with compliance, and behind-the-scenes work that keeps things running. Her proactive mindset, thoughtful questions, and willingness to jump in—especially during times when support was needed—have made a big difference. What I value most is Jacqueline’s growth mindset and her commitment to customer-centric innovation. She’s a strategic thinker, a collaborative teammate, and a creative problem solver. It’s been a privilege to work with her.

The kind of manager employees want to work for and employers need to have on their teams. Actively listens, asks smart questions, nurtures and mentors employees to do better work and grow in their careers.

I worked with Jacqueline on the VS Subscriptions team. We worked on several projects together and I really appreciated how she worked with me to understand any technical limitations or concerns I had. When Jacqueline first joined the team, I was impressed with how diligent Jacqueline was in trying to learn our product. With each new project I was confident that she understood the domain and if she didn't, that she would ask the questions needed.
